The day started off with attending mass with the family.
11am as usual, but as we reach the church, it was raining.
I dropped mum's lip gloss stick on the floor and it got washed away
by the rain. I didn't tell her anything about it, hopefully she doesn't
question me about it. :/
The homily for the mass was really good.
For once, I didn't fall asleep.
Yes yes, I know. I'm not supposed to fall asleep during homilies.
I'm sorry, I couldn't help it.
The priest who gave the homily was great!
He was able to draw the attention of the parishioners.
His preaching was so interesting, i leanred alot from that priest.
Unfortunately, I didn't get his name. He explained how Psychosomatic
relates to being close with God, in a sense whereby husbands should love
their wives and wives should obey their husbands.
As husbands and wives are joined in one body,
so is our Lord and his church.
This will bring us back to how the human mind works
with the human body. :)
Interesting right? Haha.
Even my sister agreed with me that this homily was good.
She also said it was thee first time she didn't sleep during a homily as well. LOL.
Oh well, we're sisters. What to do? :p
After mass, I had lunch with the family.
Sis and i share a bowl of tom yum fish soup with roe.
You should try the tom yum soup, it's to die for!
We're so addicted to it. Haha.
After which i got a call from cow saying that she wants me
to go over to her place first before heading out to the Career Fair.
So I said okay. Haha. Knowing that her all so UNREASONABLE mum
was out with her elder brother and sister in law, I said okay without
hesitating. It's been such a long time since I stepped foot into her house.
Really miss those times when the Libidos were just hanging out together.
I took 17 and walked up the usual slope to cow's place.
Trust me, for 5 years now, I still felt that the slope was a
test of endurance man. I know I'm unfit, but that walk just
made me realise how much weight I've gained over the past years.
Tsk. I need to go and workout man! :/
When i finally arrived at the gate of her house,
I was panting heavily like a dog that did a 6.4km sprint. Haha.
Cow was like, " What happened to you babe? Why are you panting till like that?"
I replied: " *panting* Nah, nothing. I'm just getting fatter. Shit!" Haha.
I was just telling cow about my interview experience with that Nancy
and she was totally taken aback by Nancy's remarks towards me.
Haha. Cow felt that her life was so screwed up, I did mention mine was too.
Both of us are always stuck in the same situations. The Lesbies that we are.
Haha.
Cow was so hungry, she cooked herself a packet of Mee Goreng
with 2 prawns added to it. She's such a cutie. She actually microwaved
the 2 prawns. Haha. :)
After she was done and all, we went up to her room.
I was playing with her lappy and apparently, her internet
connection sucks. I can't blame the modem as well, coz it had
to locate her lappy from the 2nd floor to the 3rd. Naturally, there
will be some interferences.
Cow was just showering and being so comfortable with me around.
Haha. She could just walk here and there and start screaming coz
her heater was spoiled so she had to bathe with cold water. :P
Cow was such a sweetie to have lent me her straightener to
straighten my all so fizzy hair and it worked. It worked so well,
I ended camwhoring with cow and we took so many pictures just
at her house. Haha. Cow printed out her resume, 5 copies of it and
we eventually headed out.
We met Xp on the way at Aljunied mrt station.
It seems that Xp and cow can really click.
Well, it's good. At least xp won't feel so left out.
So we headed down to Cityhall.
Xp got her starbucks coffee - java chip mocha,
cow got her orange juice before heading to the convention hall.
When we arrived, it was still as crowded as Saturday,
but it was not too bad, at least now we can maneuvre better. Lol.
We went to many booths, to fill up application forms and make enquiries as well.
It was a worthy trip, at least we fulfilled our aim in going there.
The difficult part after we left the place was to think of where to eat.
Xp wanted to bring us to eat at her friend's stall - beef noodles (Thai style)
I mean I don't mind, but we have to travel to Lavender and a bowl costs
$4, considering it's only a lil portion and we were on budget!
Then cow suggested Meat U There Chicken Rice, I second it.
It was cheap and good, but Xp didn't really seem convinced.
Sigh. What a headache.
We were walking when Xp suddenly said that she wanted to
visit the National Museum, I was like "WHAT?!"
I was freaking hungry and so was cow, but being the nice person
that she is, she agreed and I'm like, " We can visit the National Museum next
time, I'm very hungry already."
Then Xp gave the thirty-five cents face,
so I said "Aiya, never mind, go lor. Go and see what they have first and eat later."
I said that with a very solemn face and Xp changed her mind to say she wants to eat.
I was thinking why can't she just make up her mind and be thoughtful.
Sigh.
I really felt that she had this liking for cow.
Doesn't feel good to me though :/
So we went it and I have to admit, it was a good trip.
It was all filled with wonderufl artefacts and designs.
Just when cow and I were getting the hang of looking around more,
Xp turns to me and say, " This is boring. Let's go."
I was like, "Eh, you were the one who said you wanna come here, then
now you say it's boring, you damn funny leh."
Of course I said it with utmost displeasure.
Shortly after that, we met Jerrie.
Haha, he just sent his gf off.
so we decided to really have dinner this time.
Meat U There was closed so we were deciding on other alternatives.
Xp suggest the Hainanese chickken rice at Selegie and so we were okay,
since our main goal was to have chicken rice.
We settled down, ordered the food and all.
The food was good.
I forced Jerrie to pay for the Salad Youtiao. Lol.
I'm such a meanified bugger, but he just nodded his head in agreement.
The worse came when Xp ordered bean sprouts.
When it came, she went "EE yer, why the dao gay like that? Looks so disgusting."
Then she told the lady, " I ordered bean sprouts just now, but now I don't want already."
She kept shoving the plate of bean sprouts back to the woman.
I got pretty frustrated coz that was what she ordered initially.
She should have known better than to do that.
She had the time to think about what she wants to eat.
Sigh.
So I said, "Xiaoping, yesterday you like that, today you also like that,
when you order food, you think carefully what you want first before ordering,
then you keep changing. Why you like that ar?"
My face turned black for awhile. Jerrie and cow was asking me to chill.
Haha.
She didn't only stop there, she kept saying the chicken rice was not nice,
the kang kong not tasty and all. I could have killed her instantly,
considering the amount of patience I had. She had to do this in front of my friends.

Alex was about to come down to meet us as well, coz he was nearby.
So we decided to have dessert at Rochor Beancurd.
We went to reserve seats first, we were seated outside,
before shifting inside to the 2nd level. It was air-conditioned,
so there were no Mozzies! Thank goodness. :)
So we ordered our beancurd, butterflies, peanut balls and youtiao.
Alex came over, so we all had fun chatting and laughing.
Xp was pretty much left out coz she was way too demanding,
but I didn't want her to feel that way, so I kept talking to her,
whereas the rest of them were talking among themselves.
There were a group of China people who were speaking in English,
but it was all slang. Faints. No matter how they do it, they still have that
accent. You should see the way they dress. :/
Looks like the casual version of Cosplay.
Done with desserts, we were all SO SO FULL.
We were basically bloated man. Lol.
Xp came up with another idea to head to Mustaffa.
This time, everyone just ignored her and said that we all
wanted to go home. She acceded to the request.
We were walking towards City Hall to take a train or bus home respectively
when Xp had to drop by Chijmes coz she wanted to say hi to her ex colleagues.
So we followed her. The next thing I knew, she wanted to drink beer.
Sigh. She can really drive me crazy man!
I told her, " We all don't wanna drink, next time lar, somemore we all on budget,
don't have much cash with us."
She insisted, so I asked her to pay, then we drink.
She gladly said yes, then hesitated for awhile and asked Alex to share the bill.
What the...
Honestly, she thinks she's King at that point of time.
How can she ask my friend to split the bill when she was the one who wanted to drink?
TSK.
Alex was also nice, so he said okay.
Damn, I have such nice friends who get controlled by Xp.
I wanted to help Xp, in the end, I'm sacrificing my friends.
So we sat down for a drink.
Each person a bottle of Heineken.
We played Truth or Dare.
It was pretty fun.
There peanuts to eat too!
Soon, it was time to head home.
Everyone was tired, but everyone enjoyed themselves.
I was glad that amidst all the intense moments.
Things went well.
