--------------------------
I woke up pretty late today.
Lol.
Have an appointment with Cow to go look for jobs,
through various agencies.
I had my fair share of lunch - Maggie Mee.
I was just slacking around at home, waiting for cow to shower and all.
Haha. In the end, I was the one who's late in meeting her.
Just when she wanted to show me how her ex looked like.
Her ex had gotten into the same train as she did.
*Meow* I missed seeing him.
We were in the train, just mumbling to each other and chit-chatting.
We've been hanging out so much together, it's really a great experience.
I wish we could have the whole gin gang :)
I miss such hangouts!
We were supposed to go over to Tanjong Pagar first,
before heading for Raffles City.
I guess I haven't really woke up, so when the train stopped
at City Hall, I pulled cow out of the cabin and she went like,
"Ja, we're going to Tanjong Pagar first right?"
I went: " Yar, must change trains mar."
Cow: "This train goes all the way to Tanjong Pagar babe, no need
to switch.
Me: " OH! yar! shit, so pai seh"
Then I pulled her back into the other cabin. Lol.
Luckily, the train didn't go off without us. :p
We alighted at Tanjong Pagar and headed straight for
International Plaza. We were reminiscing the times we had here.
Informatics used to be located just where all the shops are now.
We would usually go the aunty who made really good mee siam,
or even Burger King to grab some bites before heading to class. :P
cow sort off forgot the mee siam lady though.
I can remember that she's also a perenakan, no wonder the
mee siam had a tinge of difference to it.
we had no idea where kelly services was, which floor it was located at.
Therefore we decided to ask the security guard. The security guard was
this petite old lady. So cute.
We asked her for directions and all and she was really kind to tell us
that if we wanted more information on the job agencies loacted in
the plaza, we could go to the 2nd floor to look for a stationery shop,
owned by a malay guy to get a copy of the list of agencies for 20cents.
Such a sweetie right?
That's just what we did.
Went up the 2nd floor and purchased one copy of the list.
To my amazement, there were so many agencies.
Cow was selecting the few that we should go to, starting
with Kelly Services.
When we arrived at the 33rd floor, we saw a man, who was
most probably as lost as we were. Just couldn't find the unit numbers.
They were all so messy. Lol.
Cow's instinct was good. She figured out that the man was lost,
so she asked if he was looking for Kelly Services as well.
He said yes.
Haha, great! We were all in the same boat.
We had to walk one round before locating Kelly Services.
We were attended by this lady, I guess she was chinese,
but converted to being Punjabi. Nice lady though.
Rather helpful. We had to fill up the usual application forms.
Unlike the other application forms I've filled in the past,
this one was the most tedious. I dread filling it up and the lady
could immediately sense it, therefore she told me not to fill
in the employee details. she said I just have to send my resume online.
I was relieved to hear that.
Cow got interviewed, I didn't coz we were pretty much pressed for time.
Therefore we left and was thinking of what to eat before she headed for class
and all.
We went over to Funan the IT Mall.
We didn't eat there though, we ate at the coffeeshop beside it.
Haha, Bak Chor Mee for the both of us. :)
Cow's just one of those friends that you can easily relate your
problems to and onee that really listens and help you.
Just like her, my other Libidos are blessed with such a gift as well.
Each and everyone of them always supports me and loves me.
I'm so thankful to have them in my life, really.
Wouldn't know what to do without them.
Off she headed for class, I strolled around Funan IT Mall for awhile,
took a walk to City Hall and took 502 to Bay's place.
It was a long bus ride, but I manage to get some sleep.
What a pig! Haha.
When iarrived at Bay's place, I saw his mum playing Pet Society.
She's such a cutie. Lol.
I took my shower and went over to Gek Pok with Bay to have dinner.
I had tom yum seafood ee mee, my favourite and Bay had his favourite,
Mee Hoon Kway. He has finalyl learned to have the egg included in it. :)
So proud of him! Of course, he kkept the egg for me. So sweet.
He just knows me well. Oh, my dearest bay! Muackz!
After dinner, we went over to Macdonald's to pack Mcspicy meal
for his mum and we got ourselves ice-cream too.
Strawberry sundae! Woohoo...
Chocolate fudge for bay and The Cornetto one for his mum.
We went home and the three of us just simple had quality time
together and ate our ice-cream, it was a good feeling. :)
When we had our fill, we rested for awhile and then off we went,
or should I say, off i went to Lala land. LOL.
* The sweet times together :)
